Dr. Rudolf Vrba,

Rescuer,
issued between 10 and 15 thou-
sand El Salvadoran citizenship
papers to Jewish victims in Nazi-
occupied Europe and played the
key role in disseminating Vrba's
report to the free world.

Survivor and Rescuer,
is one of only five who succeeded
in escaping from Auschwitz safely
to provide the world with an
authentic and detailed report of
the inner-workings of Auschwitz.
His report became the basis for all
future rescue operations.
