SYLVIA WOLF, 67, of Bloomfield Hills, died Oct. 11. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Steven and Ilene of Birmingham; a daughter and son-in-law, Cyn- thia and Steven Lupiloff of Bloomfield Hills; her mother, 32605 Bellvine Trail Beverly Hills, Michigan 48010 Percival Goodman, of New York, an architect who designed numerous syna- gogues throughout the coun- try — among them Congrega- tion Shaarey Zedek — died Oct. 11. He was 85. Mr. Goodman, professor emeritus at the Columbia School of Architecture, where he taught from 1946 to 1971, was known for his social thought as for his architec- tural work. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters, Suzanne Talbott of Georgia, Marthe Morris of New York, Deborah Corrigan and Elizabeth Gianis, both of New Jersey; and nine grand- children. Edith Sidder Edith Sidder, co-founder of the Reach to Recovery Pro- gram of the American Cancer Society, died Oct. 16. She was 65. A West Bloomfield resident, Mrs. Sidder was a member of Temple Emanu-El, the Sinai Hospital Guild and also was a Braille transcriber. She leaves her husband, Richard; sons and daughters- in-law, Glenn and Sharon of Farmington Hills and Garry Sidder and Francie Steinzeig; daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Sidder and Bruce Von Heine of Colorado Springs, Cola; and Connie Sidder and Robert Mohr of Denver; sisters, Rose Meyerovitz of Chicago and Beryl Winkel- man of West Bloomfield; and five grandchildren. Lydia Malbin Lydia Winston Malbin, who developed an art collection with some of the greatest names in modern art, died Oct. 14. She was 91. Malbin, a native Detroiter of New York, was the daughter of renowned ar- chitect Albert Kahn. She lived in New York since 1974. Her collection was well known for its works by Iralian futurists such as Gino Severini and Umberto Boccioni. Mrs. Malbin is survived by her son, Harry Winston Jr.; daughters, Sally Robinson and Ernestine Ruben; a sister, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment and burial in New York.
