"Accentuate the Positive,"

and older stress management
techniques. The class will be

munity Center presents
"With a Song in Our Hearts"
featuring Mamie Lawson and

form a medley of Yiddish and

Bnei Akiva
Plans Events

The three chapters of Bnei
Akiva of Detroit will meet
during the upcoming Sukkot
holiday for events and
programs.
The Chevreyah Aleph
Chapter invites its members
to a "Sukkah Hopping
Event" on Sunday. Youth,
grades 1-5, will meet at the
Young Israel of Southfield at
3:15 p.m. and will visit
members' sukkot in the,
Southfield area. This date
also will mark the opening of
the Bnei Akiva branch of the
Young Israel of Greenfield.
Youngsters in the Oak
Park/Southfield area will par-
ticipate in a sukkah visiting
event meeting at the Green-
field synagogue at 3:15 as
well.
Chevreyah Zach, the junior
high school chapter of Bnei
Akiva, will hold a "Tie-Dye
and Dinner in the Sukkah
Event," on Thursday after-
noon at the Young Israel of
Southfield. Members will be
instructed on the different
techniques of tie-dying and
will design original outfits of
their own. Dinner will follow.

High school members of the
Chevreyak Bet Chapter are
invited to go horseback riding
with the group on Monday.
Participants will meet at the
Young Israel of Southfield at
2:30 p.m. for departure to

Bnei Akiva of Detroit, in
conjunction with the local
Ahavas Chessed Group, will
hold a mitzvat chessed cam-
paign throughout the holiday
of Sukkot. Each day of Chol
Hamoed Sukkot, Bnei Akiva
youth will visit the sick at
Sinai Hospital, bringing
lulavim and etrogim. Those
interested in taking part in
this important program
should contact the Bnei
Akiva office, 967-3742.

New Program
For Obese Teens

A new 44-week obesity pro-
gram for teens 14-18, is being
held at the Beaumont
Medical Building in West
Bloomfield.
