Center Opens
New Hotline
RICHARD PEARL
Staff Writer
T
he Jewish Community
Center has opened a
24-hour hotline tele-
phone service for metro
Detroit Jewish singles.
Called the Jewish Corn-
munity Center Singles
Event Source, the hotline
provides information on up-
coming Center singles
events and any cancellations
or additions to that schedule,
according to Leanie
Gunsberg, Center singles
coordinator. The hotline
number is 351-4422.
The hotline is the culmina-
tion of nine months' plann-
ing, said Gunsberg, and
began serving the communi-
ty the first week in
September. The hotline is
aimed at keeping singles
more up-to-date than was
previously possible, she said.
The hotline tells the
schedule a month at a time
and is updated weekly or as
needed, Gunsberg said.
