The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Lichtman
of Farmington Hills. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth Soble of
Orchard Lake.
Lori Lichtman, the bride's
sister, was maid of honor.

The 56th Annual Balfour
Celebration, the musical
event of the season will
showcase the talents of Yaffa
Yarkoni, David (Dudu) Fisher
and David Syme, Oct. 25 at
Ford Auditorium.
Yarkoni, known as "Israel's
ambassador of song," has
recorded songs on 67 albums
and has won an international
audience through worldwide
concert tours.
Fisher, who recently starred
in the Israeli version of "Les
Miserables," and Syme, an in-
, ternationally acclaimed con-
cert pianist, will also appear
in a special tribute to Irwin
and Bethea Green. The
Greens will receive the
Justice Louis S. Brandeis
Award for their generous sup-
port and dedication to the

Zionist Organization of
America.
The funds donated by the
Greens will be used to
rebuild, equip and update
Kfar Silver's School of
Agriculture. Recognizing the
importance of this venture,
the Israeli government has
agreed to match the money
contributed by the Greens,
dollar for dollar.
