He was 81. Mr. Rosender, a resident of West Bloomfield, was born in Poland and was a Detroit area resident for more than 70 years. Mr. Rosender was a member of Adat Shalom Synagogue and Oakland Century Lodge of B'nai B'rith. He was one of B'nai B'rith's top fund-raisers. He leaves his wife Belle; children William and Karen of Farmington Hills and Ruth and Dr. Charles Weingarten of West Bloomfield; siblings, Thomas Rosender of Union Lake and Frances Cohen of Oak Park; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Edna Boesky Edna Boesky, former co- owner of Darby's Restaurant, died Sept. 15. She was 92. Mrs. Boesky, a Southfield resident, was born in Russia and lived in the Detroit area for more than 85 years. She was a member of B'nai B'rith Women and a member of Hadassah. She leaves children Ber- nard and Lurene Kerner of Oak Park and June Aaron Kahn of Southfield; siblings, Louis Meltzer of Toledo, Harry Meltzer of Port Charlotte, Fla., Sam and Florence Meltzer of Farm- ington Hills and Russell Meltzer of Southfield; seven grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Edna S. Lockman Edna S. Lockman, a retired Oak Park High School teacher, died Sept. 14. She was 72. Mrs. Lockman, a resident of Farmington Hills, was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and was a lifetime resident of the Detroit area. She was a member of Tem- ple Israel and Temple Beth El, a volunteer at the American Cancer Society and at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She leaves children Jack and Patricia of Detroit, Terry of Pontiac and Stuart and Deena of Birmingham; and three grandchildren.
