HU BLOT: Hublot means "port hole," from which this French watch takes its design. Their biggest seller is a steel or steel-and-gold watch with a natural rub- ber strap. Hublot's latest entry is a chronograph done in rose-gold which retails for $8500 All Hublot watches are sporty yet elegant. They start at about $1400 and can go as high as $50,000. RAYMOND WEIL: The most popular watch from Raymond Weil has an 18-karat gold-plated basket-weave bracelet with a white Roman dial. Their newest watch is called the "Posca." It also has an 18-karat gold-plated bracelet but this time with a gilt dial. It sells for $695. The most expensive Well timepiece has a black dial with two rings of Swarovski lead crystal, for $995. Their best buy is a classic strap watch with a white Roman dial from the "Nine to Five Collection," selling for $195. EBEL: Depending on the gems and how you have them set, an Ebel watch, perhaps one with pave diamonds, can go for well over $100,000. While elegance is their signature, the newest Ebel is the rugged, multi-functional "Voyager." In stainless steel on a sharkskin strap, it sells for $2200. Their best seller is from the "1911" col- lection —a man's hand-crafted bracelet watch. In stainless steel, it costs $2100. AUDEMARS PIGUET: Dubbed "the most exclusive watch in the world," Audemars Piguet's most popular style is "The Royal Oak," available in steel- and-gold, 18-karat gold, or rose-gold. At $6250, it's an eight-sided bezel bracelet watch. The newest AP is the Huitieme, from the CEO collection. It's an automatic, 18-karat gold strap watch with a date and second hand. It costs $7950. The most expensive AP ($155,000) is a bulky one with a dia- mond dial, bezel and bracelet. BERTOLUCCI: Bertolucci captures elegance, accuracy and dependability in its one basic style. The most popular and least expensive is the stainless steel strap version for $750. It is also available in 18-karat gold and gold-and-steel.
