Sloan To Head Drive For Jewish Home Bus Geraldine Sloan, publicity chairman for the Jewish Home for Aged Auxiliary, is spearheading a fundraising project to buy a bus for residents of the Home's Fleischman Residence in West Bloomfield. The previous bus used for shop- ping, doctor appointments and social events, was in con- stant need of repair. The bus project involves an "Undinner." Contributors are being, asked to give an amount equivalenmt to what they might have spent to buy seats or be a patron at a special organization dinner. Since no hall has been rented and no tables will be set, donors may purchase an unlimited number of "seats." According to Sloan, about 10 percent of the goal has been raised so far. YO-U. Musically, Zukerman per- forms concerts, records albums and serves as arts commentator for the CBS "Sunday Morning" program. She is the recipient of the Young Concerts Award in 1971 and Hadassah's "Women of Achievement" Award. Her writing talents include her novel Deceptive Cadence; articles for the New York Times, Vogue and Esquire; television assignments and screenplays.
