The Birnholtzes: Jeremy, 14, Melanie, 11, Kenny, 8.
Parents: Sue and Dr. Sandy Birnholtz, Birmingham.

SUE:

"We joined because of the school. My kids ran the
whole Seder by themselves. Jeremy started a tradition
by publishing a Seder newsletter. It welcomes the
guests, tells the menu, and includes prayers for Soviet
Jews and the six million. He also publishes the Fast
Breaking News on Yom Kippur. This doesn't come out
of nowhere. It's all learned. These are the memories my
children will take into the future!'
