house in the West Bloomfield
branch on Aug. 28 from noon
to 2 p.m. at the Fleischman
Residence/Blumberg Plaza
(next to the Jewish Communi-
ty Center). This branch will
serve 2- to 3-year-olds:

held at the Oak Park
Synagogue Nursery School in
the Oak Park/Huntington
Woods/Southfield area on
Aug. 29 from noon to 3 p.m.

The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit is offering a new pro-
gram for children ages 6
through 9 and ages 10
through 13.
In these classes the children
learn speech, drama and
camera presence on film and
video. Also incorporated in
this program, which is called
"On Camera," is movement
dexterity and general perfor-
ming arts skills.
The instructor of "On
Camera" is a professional
who has appeared in local and
national commercial spots
and has been a performer for
Watt Disney World. Classes
begin the week of Sept. 10
and last for 10 weeks.

UHS Nursery
Fall Classes

United Hebrew Schools
Nursery School is offering a
Sunday morning parent-
toddler class open to children
between the ages of 18
months and 4 years. The class
will meet from 9:30 a.m.-11
a.m. starting Oct. 29. There is
a fee.
The school will have classes
for children 18 months to 5
years. There will be an all day
class for 2 year olds.
The school has two, three
and five full and half day pro-
grams with extended hours
before and after school and a
lunch program. There are day
and evening parent-toddler
classes.
