Scott Nigoff

Scott Nigoff twinned his bar
mitzvah at Congregation
Beth Abraham Hillel Moses
with Leonid Chernayaysky of
the Ukraine in the Soviet
Union.
Leonid is the son of Irina
and Vladimir Chernyaysky.
The family was first refused
permission to emigrate, with
no reason given, in July 1981.
Scott has written to Leonid
but has not received a reply.

Sarasky,
Jennifer
daughter of Helen Sarasky
and Michael Sarasky, was bat
mitzvah at Congregation
B'nai Moshe.
Rachel Berg, daughter of
Micki and David Berg, was
bat mitzvah at Adat Shalom

Support Groups
Will Meet

A support group for in-
dividuals with spasmodic
dysphonia will meet at
William Beaumont Hospital
on 1 p.m. Sept. 9 in class-
room A on the 10th floor of
the hospital.
The group is open to all in-
dividuals with spasmodic
dysphonia, their spouses,
speech pathologists, families
and friends. There is no fee.
For information, contact
Ann Fox, 544-4278.
A support group for
diabetics, 17 years of age or
older, will meet 7 p.m. Sept. 5.
The group will meet the
first Tuesday of every month
in the Nuclear Medicine
Department classroom on the
first floor of the hospital's
North lbwer. For information,
call Jan Stump, 333-7764.

Rummage Sale
Set For Today

The Community House will
hold a rummage sale until
3 p.m. today in its auditorium
at 380 South Bates in
Birmingham.
Furniture, stereos, sporting
goods, yard equipment,
clothing, games, toys, books,
records and household goods
will be marked for sale. All
sales are cash only and will
benefit the Community
House.
