33 persons nationally who
have been interviewed for an
oral history project which will
document the development of
the North American Jewish
federation movement.
The project was undertaken
by the Council of Jewish
Federations and the Associa-
tion of Jewish Community
Organization Personnel.
Interviewed were Max M.
Fisher, a past president of
Detroit's Jewish Welfare
Federation and the CJF;
William Avrunin, executive
vice president of Federation
until his retirement in 1976;
and Toby Cirtin interviewed
for a memoir of his brother,
the late Martin E. Citrin.
Martin Citrin served as presi-
dent of the CJF and the
Jewish Welfare Federation.

The bus will leave the
synagogue at 7:30 a.m. and

bring a brown bag dairy
lunch.
