Sharfman Will Chair
ARMDI Annual Dinner
Donald Sharfman has been
named chairman of the an-
nual testimonial dinner of the
Michigan Region, American
Red Magen David for Israel.
The event will be held
5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Honorees
will be Mr. and Mrs. Mike
Must.
Sharfman, a certified public
accountant, and his wife
RaeAnn, have been sup-
porters of the American Red
Magen David for Israel from
the inception of the Michigan
Region. They serve as officers
of the local chapter's pro-
gramming division.
He is a member of the
Prime Minister's Club, State
of Israel Bonds and Congrega-
tion Beth Shalom.
Sharfman will be assisted
at the ARMDI event by Joel
Dorfman and Max Sosin,
associate chairmen. Paul Bor-
man, William M. Davidson,
Dr. Conrad L. Giles, Irwin
Green, David B. Hermelin,
Irving Laker, David Mondry,

Friends of Israel Can-
cer Association, Michigan
Branch, along with Hanoar
Chapter, has named Dr. Ar-
thur Feuer as its 1989 dinner
dance honoree.
Dr. Feuer was instrumental
in founding the Michigan
Branch of ICA in the late
1970s. He and his wife,
Regina, have been active
members, helping Michigan
Branch raise money to aid in
Israel's fight against cancer.
The 10th anniversary din-
ner dance will be at 5 p.m.
Sept. 10 at Beth Achim
Synagogue. Max Sosin will be
the guest speaker.
