BARRISTER Mark Rubin, noted National Labor Relations Board trial specialist locally for many years, was chosen to appear in U.S. District Court in New Orleans on behalf of the United States Government's NLRB in a controversial and complex case. The agency's selection of Mark from among its hun- dreds of trial specialists na- tionwide, many of whom are located much closer to New Orleans, gives recognition of an expert at his profession, something the labor law com- munity in this locale has known for some time. Reflective of Mark's dedica- tion to his religious commit- ment, first point of business taken care of after he receiv- ed his assignment was to con- tact various synagogues in New Orleans so that he could continue uninterrupted Shab- bat observance . . . He found a synagogue within walking distance of the Hyatt Regen- cy Hotel where he will be staying. Friends and associates salute Mark's ac- complishments and selection to appear in Federal District Court on special assignment.
