At Na'amat Luncheon
Greater Detroit Council of
Na'amat/USA will hold its an-
nual Spiritual Adoption Lun-
cheon on August 3 at noon in
the Michigan Inn.
The purpose of the lun-
cheon is to raise money to
support a child for a year in
a Na'amat institution in
Israel.

Chabad Weekend Seminar
Focuses On The Soul
Michigan Chabad and Bais
Chabad Torah Center of West
Bloomfield invite the public
to a weekend workshop which
will take place at the Torah
Center on Aug. 18-20. The
theme of the weekend will be
"Soul Talk."
Lectures, workshops and
rap sessions led by a profes-
sional staff of community
religious leaders will discuss
a variety of topics related to
the soul. Accommodations
will be in West Bloomfield-
area homes and all meals
served at the Torah Center.
Dr. Yaakov Braver will
serve as scholar-in-residence.
Dr. Brawer is professor
of neuroendrocrinology at
McGill University School of
Medicine and the Royal Vic-
toria Hospital in Montreal,
Canada. He is director of
McGill Centre for the Study
of Reproduction and is a
leading exponent - of Chasidic
thought.
Dr. Brawer will be assisted
by Rabbis Chaim Moshe
Bergstein, Yitzhak Meir
Kagan, Elimelech Silberberg
as well as by Chaya Sora
Silberberg of the Lubavitch
Organization of Michigan.
