An Adventure In Reading

• Get your picture in The Jewish News
• Read 10 Jewish Books
• Win a Sefer Safari Critter

Dear Parents & Kids

Here's What you do:

Sefer Safari is an adventure designed
especially for you. Its purpose is to
encourage families to share Jewish books,
become acquainted with libraries located in
synagogues, temples and Federation
agencies, and begin to build their very own
Jewish libraries at home.

• Fill out the attached coupon that says that you
or your family want to participate.
• Bring the coupon to a participating Sefer Safari
library (or send it to Jewish Experiences for
Families, 6600 W. Maple, W. Bloomfield, MI
48322)
• You will receive a sticker board and a Sefer
Safari book card.
• Then select your Sefer Safari books. They can
be recommended by your librarian, chosen
from our Sefer Safari Wonderful Jewish Books
list or discovered by you.
• After you read 5 books, fill out and send in a
Sefer Safari book card. We will send you 5
stickers for your sticker board so that you have
a record of the number of books you or your
family has completed. The sticker board with
its 10 spaces filled in will allow you to get your
picture in The Jewish News and receive a Sefer
Safari Critter.
• If your library has twenty-five families or
individuals who complete the Sefer Safari
program, it will receive a stipend to purchase
Jewish books for families to share.
• Send your reaction card to J.E.F.F. We'll send
you 5 stickers and a new card or bring it to
any participating library.
