At Temple Shir Shalom, we want your children
to enjoy discovering Jewish people and Jewish
life. So, we offer the kind of learning
experience that makes education a pleasure by
focusing on feelings and not just facts. We are
more concerned with developing a child's
character and love of Judaism than we are with
how fast they can daven.

Our unique Hebrew School meets one day a
week on Wednesdays from either 4-5:30p.m.
or 5:30-7p.m. Due to our outstanding staff of
dedicated instructors and innovative teaching
methods, we can proudly say that by the time
our children are Bar or Bat Mitzvah they will
be able to lead an entire Shabbat Service in
temples and synagogues throughout the

country. Our Sunday School is equally
successful in giving our children a solid
background in Jewish history, customs and
traditions. The education a child gets at
Temple Shir Shalom is designed to make
Jewish traditions and symbols meaningful...in a
cheerful atmosphere of warmth and devotion.

Our Temple Shir Shalom Familyship offers
an exciting array of creative Judaic programs
which provide children up to age 6 with an
opportunity to learn about themselves, their
culture, and their family. These programs are
an informative and (most of all) a fun way to
celebrate the family and spend quality time
side-by-side with your kids. Included in the
upcoming series are "Bagels and Babies Brunch,"

"Time with Tatteh," and Jewish storytelling.
Held in cooperation with the Jewish Experience
for Families, it is open to Temple members and
non-members alike.

It's important that our children know who they
are. To become part of our family and the Shir
Shalom Experience, call our Rabbi at 737-8700.
