Jill earned her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. Scott earned his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, a master's degree in chemistry from New York University, and is attending medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. A March wedding is planned. [LOCAL NEWS I Federation Appointees Are Announced New appointments in per- sonnel, finance and com- munications have been an- nounced by the Jewish Welfare Federation. Formerly assistant mana- ger of administration, Margaret Evans has been named manager of adminis- tration and personnel. A Federation employee since 1969, she has worked in the departments of budgeting and planning, endowment, ac- counting and Campaign. Sharon Fine-Alpert joins Federation's finance depart- ment. She holds a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and J.D. degree from the University of Detroit. Fine-Alpert was ad- mitted to the State Bar in May. Cipora Cohen joins the com- munications department as staff associate. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Cohen earned her bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in psychology. Formerly media coordinator, David Moss has been ap- pointed production manager. Moss is a graduate of Wayne State University. Michelle Cohen joins the communications staff as a summer intern from Michi- gan State University. Ellen Craine Reina, a graduate student in social work from the University of Michigan, will do an intern- ship with Federation in the area of community organiza- tion through December. Lisabeth Lobenthal, a partici- pant in Project JOIN (Jewish Occupational Intern Pro- gram), will be at Federation for the summer.
