Red Cross
Extends Hours
With the upcoming holiday
weekend, the Red Cross will
open a number of donor
centers on Sunday in an effort
to bolster the blood supply.
The Ann Arbor, Livonia and
Oak Park donor centers will
be open on Sunday from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. On Monday, Ju-
ly 3, donor center will be open
during normal business
hours.
There is a critical need for
Type 0 blood, either positive
or negative. However, all
blood types are necessary if
hospitals are to have an ade-
quate supply to meet patient
transfusion needs.
