Eric Leder, son of Judy and
Jeffrey Leder, and David
Rochlen, son of Arleen and
Donald Rochlen, twinned
their b'nai mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue with
Nikolay Aksenov of Kaunas
in the Soviet Union.
Nikolay is the son of Lida
and Vladimir Aksenov. The
family first applied in
December 1981 for permis-
sion to emigrate to Israel.
They were denied visas the
same year; the reason for the
refusal is unknown.
Eric and David have writ-
ten Nikolay and will try to
reach the family by phone.
