SHOE KING

Shoe designer Stuart
Weitzman was recently in
town for a trunk showing of
his fall collection at Roz
and Sherm. Patrons were

fabulous leather fabrics.
Some of the leathers look
like tapestry, while others
resemble reptile skins.
Weitzman labeled one black
shoe "licorice leather."
Weitzman's wife remained
at home in Greenwich,
Conn., where she is very
active in the Jewish
community.
