Check It Out At Great Scott!

Cholesterol and Glucose Tests are being offered at Great
Scott! Supermarkets on an appointment basis by Mount
Clemens General Hospital. There is a small charge of '5.00
per test or both tests for $8.00. Blood pressure screening
is also available with the blood tests at no additional charge.
Each test consists of analyzing your blood taken from the
tip of your finger. The results of the test are given to you in
minutes, WHILE YOU WAIT. Fasting for the Cholesterol
test is not necessary. For the Blood glucose screening it is
recommended that you fast for at least 2 hours after a nor-
mal meal to allow for proper digestion (smoking should be
avoided at this time). Testing is available for those 10 years
of age and older.
Testing will be offered at the 12 Mile and Evergreen Great Scott! on July 13, 14, 15.
To make an appointment to have your cholesterol or blood glucose checked at the Great Scott!
Store nearest your call: 582-8008, Monday Through Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Blintz It Up!

Here are two quick and easy Blintz ideas you may want to try.

Blintz Pizzaz

1 package (15 oz.) Golden Frozen Potato Blintzes
1 cup spaghetti sauce
Dash italian seasoning
2 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into 6 strips.
In skillet, cook blintzes as directed on package. Reduce
heat. Spoon sauce over and around blintzes; sprinkle
with seasoning. Arrange Mozzarella on top of blintzes.
Cover pan; heat until sauce is hot and cheese melts.
Makes 6 blintzes.

Creamed Blintzes

1 package (15 oz.) Golden Frozen Cheese or Potato
Blintzes

1 package (10 oz.) frozen creamed spinach
Generous dash nutmeg

Cook blintzes as directed on package. Prepare spinach
according to directions. Jo serve, spoon spinach over
blintzes; sprinkle with nutmeg. Makes 6 blintzes.
