Great Scott! Is Offering Cholesterol And Blood
Glucose Screening
Cholesterol and Blood Glucose Tests are being offered at
Great Scott! Supermarkets on an appointment basis by Mount
Clemens General Hospital. There is a small charge of $5.00 per
test orboth tests for $8.00. Blood pressure screening is also
available with the blood tests at no additional charge. Each test
consists of analyzing your blood taken from the tip of your finger.
The results of the test are given to you in minutes, WHILE YOU
WAIT. Fasting for the Cholesterol test is not necessary. For the
blood glucose screening it is recommended that you fast for at
least 2 hours after a normal meal to allow for proper digestion
(smoking should be avoided at this time). Testing is available for
those 10 years of age and older.
Two stores offer the testing each week. Great Scott! locations
for the next few weeks are:
July 13, 14 & 15:
Ford and Wayne Road, Westland.
12 Mile and Evergreen, Southfield.
July 20. 21 & 22:
Ann Arbor Road and Sheldon, Plymouth.
July 21 & 22:
Groesbeck and Cass, Mt. Clemens.
