Meanwhile the Freedom Festival's Cinema Canada will present a day-long celebration of Canadian films on Wednesday. The films will be shown free of charge at the Detroit Institute of Arts auditorium. The film series will kick off with a succession of animated shorts, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will conclude with the premiere of a Canadian feature-length film at 7 p.m. The 31st annual Interna- tional Freedom Festival, the nation's largest trans-border festival, celebrates the United States Independence Day on July 4 and Canada Day, the creation of the Dominion, on July 1. The festival is scheduled for today through July 4. Concert Series In Southfield The Southfield Cultural Arts Division of Parks and Recreation Department will offer 10 free Gazebo concerts each Wednesday at 7 p.m. beginning Wednesday. Con- certs will be in the gazebo area at Berg Road and Civic Center Dr. (10 1/2 Mile). Windsor Gallery Has Kids' Show A special children's show, presented by the Art Gallery of Windsor, will be shown at the Gallery on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. during this year's Freedom Festival. The show stars "The Stylamanders," a two-man musical comedy and novelty group from Toronto, and in- cludes songs, dancing, mind- reading, "Waldo the Talking Dog," and a demonstration by the Canadian Yo-Yo king.
