The bride is the daughter of
Doralee and Ronald Le Vine
of Farmington Hills. Parents
of the bridegroom are Shirley
and Joel Silber of Southfield.
Lynn Levitin was the
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Kim Kaufman, Monica
Le Vine, Lezlie Silber, a sister
of the bridegroom, and
Michelle Silber. The junior
bridesmaid was Emily Dubb.
Dr. Bradley Silber, the
bridegroom's brother, was
best man. Ushers were Jerry
Viedrah, Seymour Le Vine,
Steve Le Vine, brother of the
bride, Steven Silber, brother
of the bridegroom and Andy
Viedrah.
Also participating in the
ceremony were grandmothers
of the bride Bluma Kramer
and Jean Kaufman of
Southfield; grandfather of the

Following a honeymoon in
Acapulco, the couple is
residing in Pontiac.

Retired Professionals
Honor B. Chomsky
The Institute for Retired
Professionals paid tribute to
Bertha Chomsky "for her
outstanding service and
dedication as the Institute's
first chairman" at its annual
election meeting.
Elected to succeed Ms.
Chomsky was Alan Kandel.
Other officers are: Dr. Bern-
hard Pepper, vice-chairman;
Ethel Silberg, recording
secretary; and Norman Sable,
treasurer. Irwin Shaw, who
was instrumental in the early
organization of the institute,
is honorary life board
member.
Elected to the governing
board for a two-year term
were: Ben Harold and Julius
Harwood. Lillian Bernstein
and Wilma Sugar are fulfill-
ing their second year as board
members.
