Give Recital

The piano students of
Shirley S. Behar will perform
in recital on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
at North Congregational
Church, Southfield.
The pianists are: Irene
Adams, Carrie Bateman,
Leigh Bateman, Jineene
Adler, Elyse Adelson, Rinard
Bell, Niki Berlin, Nora Hin-
do, Letrice Miles, Timmy Naf-
so, Mervit Nafso, Melanie
Nafsu and Saskia Volkers.
Nine of Behar's students
will participate in the Na-
tional Guild Auditions Satur-
day at Schoolcraft College.
They are: Elyse Adelson, Ji-
neene Adler, Carrie Bateman,
Leigh Bateman, Nora Hindo,
Mervit Nafso, Timmy Nafso,
Melanie Nafsu and Saskia
Volkers.

Machon Lists
Dinner Heads

The co-chairman for the an-
nual Machon L'Torah dinner,
to be held June 27, will be
Leonard Borman and George
Weiss.
Borman has been a board
member of Machon L'Torah
for many years. He is on the
boards of Henry Ford
Hospital-West Bloomfield,
Michigan Parkinson Founda-
tion and the National
Association of Corporate Real
Estate.
Weiss is a past board
member of Young Israel of
Southfield and is on the
boards of the Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah and Machon
L'Torah.
The Machon ErIbrah dinner
will be held at the Michigan
Inn. Keynote speaker for the
evening will be Rabbi Amos
Bunim, author of A Fire In
His Soul.

Support Group

The West Bloomfield Fami-
ly support group of the
Alzheimer's Association will
meet 10:30 a.m. Monday at
Temple Israel.
This new support group,
which is for caregivers, fami-
ly members and friends of in-
dividuals afflicted by
Alzheimer's disease, meets on
the third Monday of each
month and offers educational
support programs. It is open
to the public.
