Aleynu Has
Men's Classes

Aleynu, the Partnership for
Jewish Adult Education, has
begun its summer in-
termediate men's learning
program, held in conjunction
with the Kollel Institute of
Greater Detroit.
The program will meet
every Tuesay and Thursday
evenings for 10 weeks. On
Tuesdays, the class will ad-
dress the "Mechanics of
Prayer." On Thursdays, the
Mishnah will be studied.
The classes, which meet at
9 p.m. will be conducted at
the Kollel, 15320 W. Lincoln,
Oak Park. Rabbi Leible
Landsman will be the in-
structor. There is a fee. For in-
formation, call Aleynu,
968-3000, from 1:30-5:30 p.m.

Students Win
Tobin Award

Emma Kleerekoper and
Elana Harris were awarded
the Zilpah Tobin Memorial
Award for Excellence in
Hebrew Studies by the
Woman's Auxiliary of the
United Hebrew Schools.
Both are full-time third-
year students at the Com-
munity Jewish High School.
The award was established
in memory of Mrs. Tobin by
daughter and son-in-law,
