senior adult department of
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Bulding of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will have a
luncheon to celebrate the
spiritual adoption of an
Israeli orphan. The luncheon,
followed by a ceremony and
entertainment, will take
place Monday at noon in Jaffe
Hall.
Dr. Walter Sobota of Sinai
Hospital will provide a lec-
ture/workshop entitled,
"Remember This — Coping
With Memory Loss" at 1 p.m.
Tuesday in Jaffe Hall. This
lecture is open to the public
free of charge. Following the
lecture, the third part of the
movie, Private Benjamin will
be shown.
Bernie and Faye Luchtan
invite seniors to an afternoon
of refreshments and enter-
tainment at the Wednesday
Afternoon Social at 1 p.m.
Wednesday in Jaffe Hall.
Philip Imber will read selec-
tions from his writings at the
Yiddish Culture Club on
Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall.
Abe Gornbein will lead the
Press Review, a current
events discussion group, on

Seniors To Co
To Ann Arbor

The Jewish Community
Center senior adult depart-
ment has planned a trip to
Ann Arbor on July 19. Lunch
will be at the Gandy Dancer;
shopping will be at Kerry-
town. The day also will in-
clude a trip to the Ann Arbor
Farmer's Market and a per-
formance at the Kerrytown
Concert House. Transporta-
tion will be by deluxe air-
conditioned motorcoach. The
bus will leave the Maple/
Drake building at 9:15 a.m.
There is a fee which includes
transportation and perfor-
mance. Participants must pay

for their own lunches. Kosher
meals are available by ad-
vance reservations.
