Your magnanimous generosity once again demonstrates your compassionate concern for the welfare, security and destiny of our gallant brethren in Israel. MDA is grateful to you for participating in the noble task of Pikuach Nefesh — saving precious lives." Accepting the award Henry Dorfman remarked: "For Mala and me, the survivors of the Nazi Holocaust, it was a long, difficult and painful journey from the hell of the Holocaust to the paradise of democracy, freedom and opportunity. Yes, we are grateful for the miracle of sur- viving, we are grateful for the good fortune and all the blessings granted to us and we shall never forget our Martyrs and Heroes of the Holocaust. And remembering them we decided to donate this special ambulance in the loving memory of our beloved parents and all our relatives who perished in the Holocaust. May their sacred memory and the memory of our Six Million live forever. And as we dedicate this ambulance during the celebration of Israel's 41st Independence Anniversary, it is our hope and prayer that a genuine peace and stability soon will prevail upon the State of Israel."
