She will discuss interesting
places of travel in the United

Comedy Castle on Thursday

Peddlers Bicycle Club, 10 a.m.
at Maple/Drake; and a discus-
sion on Jewish conversion to-
day, led by Rabbi Elimelech
Goldberg at 7:30 p.m. Sunday
at Maple/Drake.
A rendevous at Whisper's
Lounge in the Novi Hilton
will be June 21 at 7 p.m. Hors
d'oeuvres, buffet and cash bar
will be available. Music by
Reflections will begin at 9
p.m.
Detroit-area singles are in-
vited to join Ann Arbor
Singles on a Huron River
canoe trip followed by a
potluck lunch June 25 at
9:30 a.m.
Also on tap for the 25-45
Singles are a whitewater raf-
ting weekend July 13-16 on
the Ottawa River in Canada,
and a singles trip to Toronto
with singles from Ann Arbor
and Buffalo, N.Y., July 28-30.

Miami Of Ohio
Set For Singles

Cincinnati, Ohio — Jewish
singles in Ohio, Michigan and
other midwest states are in-
vited to the first Jewish
Singles Weekend at Miami
University in Oxford, Ohio,
July 28-30.
This opportunity to go back
to college for all the fun
without the work offers in-
tellectual, spiritual and social
activities, including Shabbat
dinner and services, golf and
tennis clinics, athletics, a
dance and brunch.
In addition, Miami Univer-
sity staff will speak on
various topics. "Kosher, Soul
and Casserole" is the lunch
topic of Diane Spillman,
assistant professor, home
economics and consumer
sciences; "Assertiveness:
Stand Up for Yourself" will be
discussed by Wendy Wilson,

communications instructor;
"The American Dream" by
Allan Winkler, history pro-
fessor and chairman; and
"Wine Appreciation" will be
provided by Jack Keegan,
botany instructor and green-
house manager.

Singles Gourmet
Cooking Slated

The Community House of
Birmingham invites singles
of all ages to participate in
two gourmet cooking classes,
June 20 and 27, 6:30-10 p.m.
Participants will prepare a
dinner, sample wines and
nieet others who share these
interests.
Chris and Phyllis Mazure,
instructors, will lead prepara-
tions for a candlelight dinner
the first night. The second
session will show how to
make a summer buffet.

Offers Tours

Scenes of Great Neck is offer-
ing five singles tours this
summer.
The schedule includes Mex-

Social Singles
Plan Elections

The Jewish Community
Center Social Singles (ages
40-55) will hold an election of
officers on July 31.
The goal of the group is to
provide social, cultural and
athletic events for Jewish
men and women who are
divorced, widowed or have
never married.
Group activities include a
dinner club, fall bowling
league, summer golfing and
card and board games. A
mystery trip is scheduled for
late June.
