The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building of the Jewish
Community Center is looking
for musicians to join the
Wednesday Afternoon Social
musical ensemble.
The ensemble plays mostly
Jewish music every Wednes-
day, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Per-
sons who play the piano,
drums, bass, saxophone,
trumpet or guitar should
come to Jaffe Hall on Wednes-
day or call Judy Blustein,
967-4030, for information.

AMERICAN
CANCER
SOCIETY'

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center announces a
series of vision workshops
will begin July 6 at 10 a.m. at
the JPM.
The Greater Detroit Socie-
ty for the Blind will conduct
the workshops for the legally
blind or severely visually im-
paired. The workshops will be
held weekly.

The Senior Adult Choir of
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Building of the Jewish Com-

1 p.m. Director of the choir is

Seifu Lessanewerk will
speak on "The Status of
Ethiopian Jewry" on Tuesday
at 1 p.m. in the JPM
assembly hall. Following the
lecture, the second part of the
movie, Private Benjamin will
be shown.
Rabbi Benjamin Gorrelick
will lead a discussion group

on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.in
room 4 of the JPM.
Alex Nemoff, accompanied
by Lillian Zellman, will
entertain in the Yiddish
Culture Club on Thursday at
12:30 p.m. in Jaffe Hall of the
JPM. This program was made
available by the Charles and
Frances Driker Fund for Yid-
dish Culture.
Irving Herman will conduct
the Press Review, a current
events discussion group, on
Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall.

Seniors Group

West Bloomfield's Young at
Heart senior group meets on
Mondays at Fire Station No.
4 on Greer Road west of Hiller
Road from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Cards, conversation and
special events highlight the
get-togethers.

Young at Heart is open to
anyone 55 or older. There are
no membership fees.

AMY FALBAUM of West
Bloomfield was one of 47 re-
cent graduates of the
American Academy of
Dramatic Arts in New York.
Miss Falbaum is the daughter
of Ben and Phyllis Falbaum of
West Bloomfield. She is a
1986 graduate of West Bloom-
field High School.

Venue Changed

annual sports dinner of the
Benefactors of the Jewish
Home for Aged, slated for
