B'nai David Women
Plan Donor Lunch
The 53rd annual cham-
pagne donor luncheon of the
Sisterhood of Congregation
B'nai David will be held
Wednesday at the synagogue.
Sisterhood president is
Eleanor Maness.
The day's program will
begin at 11 a.m. with a bouti-
que shopping spree. Boutique
chairman is Helen Brown.
Shoppers will be entertained
by Sonia Lipenholtz at the
piano.
A champagne luncheon will
be served at noon. During
lunch, there will be informal
modeling of clothing and ac-
cessories. Following lunch-
eon, there will be a musical
program, "The Best of Broad-
way," featuring Marci
Shulman.
Blanche Brant, first vice
president of the sisterhood, is
the donor luncheon—chair-
man. The community is in-
vited. Decorations for the
luncheon are under the direc-
tion of Barbara Traison and
Tillie Bolton. Jennie Solomon
is the ad book chairman.

Congregation B'nai David.
Doris Markel Retains
JNF Women's Post
The Women of Jewish Na-
tional Fund will hold their in-
stallation of officers at noon
Tuesday at Temple Emanu-
El. Doris Markel will be in-
stalled for a second term as
president. Susan Yorke, presi-
dent of Metropolitan
Hadassah, will be installing
officer.
Bess Axelrod, vice president
of programming, announces
that the musical program, "A
Salute to Israel," will feature
Eda Miller, Alex Nemoff,
Mimi Summers and Vivian
Beresh, accompanied by Rose
Morgan. Ann Grossman will
deliver the invocation.
Other officers to be install-
