Tikkun Leil
Shavuot Slated

Adat Shalom Synagogue
will hold a Tikkun Leil
Shavuot 10 p.m. Thursday at
the home of Rabbi Efry
Spectre.
The annual event is design-
ed for congregants and
members of the community
who wish to participate in
this traditional study session
of Shavuot.
Rabbi Spectre and Rabbi
Elliot Pachter of Adat Shalom
and Rabbi Bruce Aft and Dr.
Dan Guyer will lead small
group discussions for adults
and teenagers. Rabbi Aft will
conduct a workshop on
"Prayer As Gift To God" and
Dr. Guyer will discuss "In-
sight Into the Book of Ruth."
Separate discussions will be
arranged for teens.
Adults who plan to par-
ticipate should RSVP by Mon-
day to Rabbi Spectre's
secretary, 851-5100. Teens
should call Youth Director
Miriam Starkman at the
