Shelly Katlein says she's
looking for a few good, fresh-
air-loving single Jewish men
and women to join her in
golfing.
Katlein is the golf chairper-
son for the Social Singles, the
Jewish Community Center's
organization for people 40 to
55 years old.
"We could form a team, if
we can get enough players , or
if we can't get in a league,
then we could make a golfing
date for foursomes every
Thursday night, for example,"
said Katlein, who plays the
game weekly.
She said she's not necessari-
ly looking for championship
caliber golfers — she's been
playing 10 years and shoots
in the high 50s to low 60s for
nine holes.
"I just like exercise, fresh
air and sunshine," she said.

Hear Zaslow

Jeffrey Zaslow, the advice
columnist who replaced Ann
Landers at the Chicago Sun-
Times, will speak to Conser-
vative Jewish Singles ages
25-40 at an Oneg Shabbat
following services at 8 p.m.
tonight at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
The oneg is the first func-
tion held by the Conservative
Singles group, formed under
the auspices of the metro
Detroit Consevative rabbis.
