October Trip
To See Israel

The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion has begun recruiting for
an October Young Leadership
mission to Israel.
An information meeting
will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednes-
day at the Birmingham home
of Leigh and Joel E. Jacob to
discuss the 10-day mission
itinerary, including El Al
flights and five-star hotels.
Hadas and Dennis S. Ber-
nard will join the Jacobs as
chairmen of the mission,
which is open to individuals
age 25-40 who contribute a
minimum of $500 to the 1990
Allied Jewish Campaign.

Mraverse City
Tour Planned

City of Southfield Tours,
Cultural Arts, Parks and
Recreation will present the
Traverse City Fall Getaway,
Oct. 20-23.
The weekend includes
round-trip motorcoach
transportation, a two-night
stay at the Park Place Hotel
in Traverse City. All baggage
handling and gratuities are
also included. The hotel will
also provide one breakfast
and one dinner.
