"My grandmother never thought any members of our family would meet him," she said. "I'm grateful to be the first one." The romantic quality and history of Vienna impressed Rockind. . "It's enchanting and I love the old style of the city," she said. "But I also got this eerie feeling and I couldn't help but wonder what it was like when the SS officers were marching around?' For Rockind the trip left an indelible impression. "We as an American group, were in- vited to a reception at U.S. Ambassador Henry Grun- wald's home. All I could think about was if my grandfather had come and cried to the em- bassy 50 years ago that he was going to be taken to a camp tomorrow, they would have shut the door in his face." ❑ Rocky Mountain National Park Arches National Park Zion National Park Grand Teton National Park Yellowstone National Park WESTERN TEEN TRIP 1 CO-ED ENTERING 10TH-12TH GRADE June 20 - July 21 Call Tamarack Camps 661-CAMP BBYO Chapters Pick Officers L/ CONTEMPORARY • furniture • lighting • wall decor • gifts • silk florals • interiors SALE Spring is blooming and CASUAL LIVING MODES is celebrating by offering savings on EVERYTHING from 20.50% OFF!
