Federal Mogul Corp.'s
private art collection will be
open to the public for the first
time during exclusive docent
tours availble only to ticket
holders at the International
Institute's 4th annual inter-
national auction on Sunday
at the company's world head-
quarters in Southfield.
The corporation's acquisi-
tions focus on two distinct col-
lections: North American In-
dian artifacts and an interna-
tional textile collection which
includes Asian costume. In
addition, Federal Mogul's in-
stallation of Andy Warhol
silkscreens will be on display
in the atrium.
Docent tours of the art col-
lection, a champagne brunch
and a silent auction will open
the event at 2 p.m. The live
auction action will begin at 4
p.m. Proceeds benefit the In-
ternational Institute.

Benefit Set
Antique dealers from seven
states will display their
treasures at the third annual
Myasthenia Gravis Antique
Show and Sale at Meadow
Brook today through Sunday.
Part of the gate receipts will
benefit the educational, pa-
tient service and research ef-
forts of the Myasthenia
Gravis (MG) Association.
Seventy-five dealers will be
featured this year. There will
be celebrity preview night at
7:30 pm. today. Doors open at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday and at
noon on Sunday.
The Third Annual
Myasthenia Gravis Antique
Show and Sale will be held in
the Shotwell-Gustafson
Pavilion, Meadow Brook
Estates, Oakland University,

The 11th annual Birm-
ingham Art Fair in Shain
Park, sponsored by the Birm-
ingham Bloomfield Art
Association will take place
Saturday and Sunday from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m.
The fair will host 162 juried
exhibitors. It will showcase a
variety of media, including
painting, photography,
sculpture, jewelry, baskets,
glass, fibers and more.
Children can participate in
easel painting, clay, plaster
sculpture and collage.
