Concert Set

In celebration of its 30th an-
niversary, The Pro Mozart
Society of Greater Detroit
will present its annual con-
cert on Sunday at 3 p.m. in
the Grosse Point War
Memorial (Fries Auditorium),
32 Lake Shore Dr., Grosse
Pointe Farms.
Violinist Elissa Lee Kol-
jonen and pianist Hugh Sung
will perform. The Men and
Boys' Choir of Christ Church
Grosse Pointe also will
entertain.
During the after-glow there
will be an opportunity to
meet the artists and Dr.
Friedrich Gehmacher, presi-
dent of the International
Foundation Mozarteum.

West Bloomfield
Offers Tasting

The Taste of West Bloom-
field makes its second annual
Michigan week appearance
11 a.m. Sunday in the lobby
and adjoining courtyard of
West Bloomfield's Henry Ford
Medical Center.
Twenty area restaurants,
more than half of them
located within the township,
will provide 500 tastes of one
or more of their specialties as
a service to the community.
Proceeds from ticket sales
will go to the West Bloomfield
Chamber of Commerce, the
West Blomfield Land Conser-
vancy and West Bloomfield
Families in Action.

season softball game on

diamonds against celebrities
from local co-sponsors WXYZ-
TV and WHYT-FM Radio.

Bingo Benefit

The Mr. and Mrs. Group of
City of Hope will hold its an-
nual bingo and auction at
Roma Hall, 2101 Telegraph,
Bloomfield Hills on June 6.
Proceeds from this event go to
the continuing care and
research of patients suffering
from cancer, heart disease,
AIDS, and other diseases.
