Donor Nears

The 33rd annual donor
luncheon for the sisterhood of
Congregation Beth Shalom
will be held May 18 in the
synagogue social hall at noon.
"An Afternoon of Glamour,"
the day will feature a fur and
jewelry fashion show.
A "mini boutique" also will
be offered from 10:30 until
11:45 a.m.
The committee for this
luncheon includes Lynn Rich,
chairman; Madelyn Liss and
Helene Robbins, co-chairmen,
and program and gifts;
Edythe Mazur, pledge chair-

Dinner Set

The Detroit Business and
Professional Chapter of B'nai
B'rith Women will have its
"Dutch treat" dinner at 6
p.m. Wednesday at MCL
Cafeteria in the Tel-12 Mall.
Entertainment for the even-
ing will be a presentation on
a "Variety of Jewish Humor"
by Philip Vainick at 7:30 p.m.
Vainick is the executive direc-
tor of Congregation Beth
Achim, and is on the faculty
of the Midrasha.

Na'amat Plans
Luncheon

The Avodah Chai Brandeis
Chapter, Na'amat/USA, will
have a luncheon and business
meeting Monday at noon at
the Whitehall Apartment
club house. The legislative
chairman will give a report
on current evtnts in Israel.
