For the accomplishment he has been chosen for special recognition by Time magazine. Aaron Milstone, a biological sciences major, received the College Achievement Award during ceremonies last month at Time's New York head- quarters. He also received recognition of the honor at the April meeting of Wayne State's Board of Governors. Milstone received a $3,000 scholarship for being chosen from a pool of 600 candidates, which had been selected from more than 40,000 applica- tions submitted to the magazine. He will appear in the May 22 edition, along with 19 other students considered by the publication to be the top juniors from colleges and universities from around the United States. The contest, which is in its third year, was co-sponsored by Volkswagen- United States. Last year the program earn- ed Milstone several other ac- colades; the Congressional Medal of Merit from the U.S. Congress, and a commenda- tion from IBM.
