Over $27,000 in pledges and donations have been received by the
Friends of the IDF-State of Michigan since its inaugural meeting last
month, according to Mort Feldman, right, co-founder and chapter
president. The group's goal is $75,000 for recreational facilities in

Foundation's seventh annual
dinner to be held in the
Westin Ballroom on Saturday.
Special guest stars Steve
Lawrence and Eydie Gorme
are the featured performers
with WDIV-TV anchorman
Mort Crim serving as master
of ceremonies and David
Hermelin giving the keynote
speech.
In addition to their chair-
manship of the annual din-
ner, Applebaum is vice chair-
man of MCF's board of
trustees and co-chairman of
its endowment campaign.
Mrs. Applebaum is a member
of the board of trustees.
