he works of 23 artists have been on display at Sinai Hospital of
Detroit for the last two weeks. Water colors, acrylics, ceramics and wall
hangings were produced by the members of the Jewish Association for
Retarded Citizens.
The artists were assisted by local artist and JARC volunteer Linda
Zalla, who taught water color techniques during monthly classes at a JARC
Haverim Home. Ceramic pieces were created in Gary Richmond's pottery
class at the Jewish Community Center.
The Sinai Guild hosted a dinner for the artists at the opening of the
show, which ends May 7 at Sinai Hospital. ❑
