Great Scott! Is Offering Cholesterol Testing And Healthy Shopping Tours

Cholesterol Tests are being offered at Great Scott! Supermarkets on
an appointment basis by Mount Clemens General Hospital. There is a
small charge of 5 5.00 per test. Each test consists of analyzing your blood
taken from the tip of your finger. The results of the test are given to you
in minutes, WHILE YOU WAIT. Testing is available for those 10 years
of age and older. Tw vo stores offer the tests each week. In addition, Great
Scott! is proud to announce that registered Dietetic Association, and
the Detroit Dietetic Association will be offering supermarket tours at
all Great Scott! Stores on a rotating basis.
Each tour takes approximately 11/2 hours. A fee of 5 15.00 is charged
by the dietetic association conducting the tour in each store. All par-
ticipants will receive a special packet of Great Scott! Coupons as well
as literature on heart-healthy eating.

The 1989 Detroit Symphony Designer's Showhouse, located on
Woodlynne Drive in Bingham Farms, East of Telegraph Road between
13 & 14 Mile will be open May 6 thru June 4. Showhouse hours are Tues-
day thru Friday 10am-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Saturday and Sunday hours
are 12-4pm. The house will be closed Mondays, but will be open on
Memorial Day.
The Showhouse, a 5400 square foot mid-western prairie-style house
will be decorated and furnished by seventeen interior design studios.
Admission to the Showhouse is 510.00. Coupons for a 52.00 discount
are available at all Great Scott! Stores. While visiting the Showhouse be
sure to stop by the tearoom where volunteers of the Detroit Symphony
League and the Women's Association for the Detroit Symphony will be
dishing up refreshments. Proceeds from admissions and refreshments
to benefit DSDH., Inc. All salads and baked goods served at the tearoom
are available at Great Scott! Supermarkets!
