HAGOPIAN'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY SALE

be Mary Tarnow and Maxine
Canvasser. Highlight of the
program is a tribute to be
presented by the Jewish
Home for Aged Staff Choir.
More than 400 volunteers
provide service to 212
residents at Borman Hall,
100 at Prentis Manor and 106
at Fleischman Residence.

Holocatist
Memorial
At State Capitol

The State Capitol Rotunda
will be the site of the annual
Official State Holocaust Com-
memoration on Sunday at
noon. Sen. Jack Faxon will
chair the event, which will
honor the righteous gentiles
— individuals who risked
their lives to save Jews from
the Nazis.
A group of these rescuers
and survivors will participate
in a candlelighting ceremony
in memory of those who died
at the hands of the Nazis.
Professor and Christian
theologian Harry James
Cargas will deliver keynote
remarks.
The Jewish Community-
Council has arranged for a
bus to take those who wish to
attend the commemoration.
There is a nominal fee. Con-
tact Council offices, 962-1880,
to reserve a seat on the bus.
Resident volunteers will be
cited by Jack S. Ellias, direc-
tor of operations. Greetings
will be brought by Carol
Rosenberg, Fleischman Resi-
dence administrator, and Ex-
ecutive Vice President Alan
S. Funk will give a volunteer
overview.
