Glorianne Joy Silverman
and Irving Joseph Pearlman
were recently married at the
Somerset Inn in Troy. Rabbi
Dannel Schwartz and Cantor
Harold Orbach officiated.
Parents of the bride are
Merle and Selma Silverman
of Detroit. The bridegroom is
the son of Mrs. Rae Pearlman
of Sterling Heights and the
late Mr. Louis Pearlman.
Serving as matron-of-honor
was the bride's sister, Gail
Silverman Cohen. Brides-
maid was Mia Pearlman,
sister-in-law of the bride-
groom. Leslie Pearlman,
daughter of the bridegroom
served as junior bridesmaid.

Stacey Erin Cohen, niece of
the bride, served as flower
girl.
Gene Pearlman was his
brother's best man. Allan
Cohen, brother-in-law of the
bridegroom, was a bride-
groomsman. Stephen Pearl-
man and Michael Pearlman,
nephews of the bridegroom,
and Mark Daniel Cohen and
his brother, Howard Ian
Cohen, nephews of the bride,
all served as ushers.
David Silverman, brother of
the bride, escorted his grand-
mother, Gertrude Silverman,
of Southfield, down the aisle.
The couple will reside in
Farmington Hills.

"vagaBONDS" and fly away
for a "Day in Chicago" has
been extended by the Metro
Detroit Israel Bond Women's
Division to 1989 members or
intended members of the
Israel Bond Golda Meir Club.
The "Day in Chicago" trip
is scheduled for May 18,
beginning with an early
morning carpool to Metro-
politan Airport and a 9:30
a.m. flight to Midway Air-
port, where chartered buses
GMC
will meet the
"vagaBONDS."
Highlights of the day will
be a visit to the Chicago home
of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Netzky,
with a guided tour of the
home and art collection by
the hosts; a luncheon with
Israel Consul General Uri
Bar Ner at the Standard
Club; and time to visit the
galleries and boutiques on
the "Magnificent Mile,"
downtown Chicago's newest

shopping, area. There is a
charge which includes all
meals and transportation.

Detroit Women's Division
