His address, "Geriatric
Podiatry and the Diabetic," is
sponsored by the Esther
Brown Fund, which was
established in 1988 within
the LeVine Institute on Aging
to promote research and educ-
tion in the area of geriatric
podiatry.
Dr. Harkless is chairman of
the American Diabetes
Association's Council on Foot-
care and serves on the
Peripheral Arterial Disease
Council of the National Coun-
cil on the Aging.
While at the Home, Dr.
Harkless will speak at a lun-
cheon to health care profes-
sionals, then at a workshop •
for individuals working with
the aging in other disciplines.
