critic, who will speak May 1
at 1 p.m.

April 29 at 8 p.m.
The art fair will be open
April 30 and May 1 from 11
a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a
charge for admission. For in-

Arranging the art fair are
Lin. Klein and Roberta
Feldman. Boutiques in the
Little Shoppes of Art are ar-
ranged by Liz La Kritz and
Barbara Horenstein. The
champagne preview is under
the direction of Carole Miller.
Harriet Trager and Paulla
Epstein are in charge of ticket
sales. Marsha Schavrien is
coordinating volunteers.
Creating lunches and
snacks for the rIbmple Avenue
Cafe are Cynthia Franklin
and Barbara Gutman.

The National Council of
Jewish Women, Greater
Detroit Section, will hold a
two-day CASA combined
training session for its Court
Appointed Special Advocate
programs.
The sessions are set from
9:30 to noon May 11 and 12.
The May 11 meeting will take
place at the N.C.J.W offices in
Southfield, and the May 12
training will be held at the
Oakland County Court
House. The program is open
to the public.
The CASA children's pro-
gram consists of trained
volunteers who do indepen-
dent home studies and testify
in court as to the best possi-
ble placement for children in
need of a legal guardian.
The adult legal guardian-
ship CASAs do investigations
and testify to try to protect
the growing number of elder-
ly people in legal guardian-
ship situations.

Award Brunch
Mildred Jeffrey, a local ac-
tivist in political, union and
peace causes, will be honored
9:30 a.m. Thursday by the
Women's Action for Nuclear
Disarmament, WAND, during
the organization's third an-
nual Mother's Peace Day
Award brunch at the Bir-
mingham Community House.
The public is invited. There
