College Students
Sought For Camp

College students will have
the opportunity to combine
Jewish commitment with
summer jobs through the
Jewish Leadership Camping
Program, sponsored by the
Board of Jewish Education of
Greater New York (BJE),
through a grant from the
Fund for Jewish Education.
Now in its 10th year, the
Jewish Leadership Camping
Program (JLCP) is designed
to develop and enhance
Jewish content programs in
camps, through enlisting and
training qualified college
students as counselors.
The JLCP program seeks
Jewishly knowledgeable
students who are able to work
with children. Counselors
will not only receive a stipend
of $500 over their camp
salaries, but will undergo ex-
tensive training which will
aid them in developing skills
that may be useful in their
future careers.
