Roslyn Bresnick Perry, a storyteller and lyricist, will speak on her recollections of growing up in the shtetl. On April 28, congregants will meet at 8 p.m. for a Kab- balat Shabbat service follow- ed by a Yiddish sing-along led by Cantor Samuel Green- baum. Roslyn Perry has translated some favorite songs into English for those who do not know Yiddish. After the sing-along, Perry will discuss her life in the shtetl. She will, in part, focus on memories of Pesach. The synagogue's United Synagogue Youth President Jason Vieder will speak on "Continuing Jewish Education Beyond Bar/Bat Mitzvah." Following the service, the synagogue will hold its an- nual Ronnie Posen Youth Luncheon. The luncheon is prepared by the synagogue's Youth Commission and spon- sored by the Adat Shalom Ronnie Posen Youth Fund. The fund was established in memory of Ronnie Posen. College Students To Be Honored The Family Programming Committee of Congregation Beth Abraham Hillel Moses will honor its college students Saturday as part of its contin- uing Life Cycle Shabbatot Series. The students will par- ticipate in the service with Rabbi A. Irving Schnipper and Cantor Ben-Zion Lanx- ner. The synagogue will host a kiddush in their honor after the service. The public is invited.
