Folk Dancing
In Southfield

The Southfield Civic Center
will be the scene of the
seventh annual International
Folk Dance Festival on April
30 from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Twelve folk dance groups
from the greater Detroit area
will perform. Among them
will be the flora Aviv Israeli
Folk Dance Troupe, directed
by Shelly Jackier.
There also will be a
gourmet buffet of Greek,
Arabic, Polish, Italian,
French and Jewish food, wine
and desserts prepared by area
restaurateurs.

Musical Opens
At Hilberry

The Musical Working
premiers Thursday at Wayne
State University's Hilberry
Theatre. The opening is 8 p.m.
April 22. The play continues
through May 20. Also at the
Hilberry, The Three Sisters,
opens today and runs through
April 23, The Scarlet
Pimpernel plays today, Satur-
day and April 25 and The
Night Thoreau Spent in Jail
runs through May 13. Lost in
the Stars plays at the
Hilberry Studio through
Monday. There is a charge.
